At Active Angels’ Nursery we believe partnership with parents is essential. We believe that parents should be kept informed about their children’s needs and progress. We have a suggestion book and box in the entrance area, to allow parents to make suggestions (anonymously) with regards to how we might improve our service. Newsletters will go out monthly to inform parents/carers of relevant information regarding the nursery, such as topics children will be covering at Nursery, and relevant dates for parents‘ diaries.

We appreciate how special childhood is, so we do our best to fulfil parents’ wishes. We aim to provide a loving, secure, fun and happy environment and to enable children to develop and learn confidently in the company of their friends.

Parents evening

We hold parents evening twice a year to discuss and show you how your child is geting on and developing at Acive Angels. Its a chance for parents to meet with their child's key worker and ask questions.

WIDER COMMUNITY LINKS

Our Nursery does not exist in isolation. We are very much a part of the wider community and have strong links with a range of agencies. We have a variety of visitors into our Nursery who do group sessions with the children. We enjoy sessions from Rhythm Time, Dubarrie School of Dance and Yoga Bugs every week and the Librarian from Dickens Heath Library comes out monthly, to share a story with our older children.

We also take the children off site on walks around the local area and our pre school children go on various journeys to help with the relevant topic /theme they are discussing at that particular time.
